During this season where I’ve been dealing with fear, listening to your show has been a reminder that I have to push forward, because my life is not my own but His. Everyday we open our eyes is a blessing from God. Yesterday as I attempted to cross the street after work to go to get may car out of the parking deck a driver making a turn was not paying attention and almost hit me, she stopped short of about a foot from me. If she had not, I might not be here today to write this. I believe when you have given your life to the Lord and asked Him to be the center of it he protects you from hurt, harm and danger. Of course, there are times He allows it, but there is a greater purpose in it all that we may not understand. One thing I constantly say is “I will Trust God and God is Good no matter what.” We’ve had a lot of tragedy occur in America and we’ve walked, prayed and protested. Now it is time to reflect and make strategic plans for the positive outcome that is going to happen because of this. Non-violence, understanding, talking and getting to know different people is a start. America land of the free, home of the brave is where we live and we must remind ourselves of who we were created to be. All life is precious and irreplaceable. WE must stop watching and listening to violence if we want to stay positive. WE must guard our minds eye, what you put in is what you reap. WE must stand still and see the salvation of the Lord and stop reacting on impulse. God’s word is the blueprint for life so we must read it to know how to live. All we have is today, we can’t dwell on the past, we can’t rely on the future. Today if you do not harden your heart you can do great things. Trust in the Lord for He is GOOD! Be blessed, Sabrena
