This February, True Colors will be staging the first ever performance in Atlanta of David Mamet’s Race.
Race is the story of three attorneys, two black and one white, offered a chance to defend a white man charged with a crime against a black woman. The lawyers and the defendant confront their own feelings about race as they evaluate the evidence of the case. According to Mamet, the “theme is race and the lies we tell each other on the subject.”
